Video Auction Information

Starting in Mid April 2005, we will be offering a new service to our customers, selling forward contract video cattle at our facility and broadcasted to prospective buyers all over the United States via the internet.  We will offer video cattle at any and all of our special cattle sales. Watch our listings page for specific sale times for video drafts.

How the video will work at Tama Livestock
*Cattle will be offered in uniform lots of more than 50 head.
*Cattle will be video taped and check weighed so that we can accurately estimate shipping weights.
*If possible on day of delivery cattle will be weighed on the ground with shrink, if not cattle will weigh on the truck.
*On the day of sale, the buyer will pay a $40 per head deposit, in which $30 will go to the seller, and $10 will be held as a deposit on commission. 
*On the day of delivery, the seller will be paid the balance when cattle are received by buyer.
*On the day of delivery, the buyer will either deliver a check to Tama Livestock, send it by overnight delivery, or wire transfer.
